- Hypnosis -

Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis to treat emotional problems and hypnosis is a state of focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion. So, hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis, to help you try to lessen symptoms, change habits or compliment the treatment of different conditions. Hypnotherapy can also support you in making positive changes to your life and achieving goals, which in turn can also have a positive impact on your life. People in a hypnotic state often seem to be asleep, in reality, they are in a state of hyper-awareness able to exit the hypnotic state and ‘wake up’ at any time during a hypnotherapy session.

Although Hypnotherapy can be perceived to be similar to practicing meditations, the ultimate purpose of mediations is to help still and quieten the mind, whereas in hypnosis, the hypnotherapist is able to use the your thoughts to focus on what you would like to happen and adapt the way you think and perceive challenges in achieving what you want.
